Wednesday, 28 December 2005

Gibbs was no match for Domenic Crouch in a training session at the WACA just before the first Test in Perth.  He had Gibbs struggling and picked him up caught behind, Gibbs denied it, but the Media backed up the Baysie Boy.   The whole affair was documented on radio, and we are lucky enough to have a copy that you can download.   The file is an MP3 audio file that is about 1.3MB and the story goes for around 6 minutes, the Crouch affair is towards the end.  Click on the file DomCrouch.mp3 to dowmload.

Hundred for Andre
Written by Peter Marriott
Monday, 07 November 2005
Andre's stylish 125 steered the 3rd grade to a good position at the end of the first day.  Approximately 2 hours of the day were lost due to rain, but a good run rate of over 4 an over resulted in a total of 6/240. Andre dominated the day including punishing the off spinners for 55 from 5 overs. Jordan Teo provided good support for Andre and will continure next week on 36 not out.
