Game two saw Joondallup reach 7 for 96 against tight bowling with seven players each took one wicket. The fielding was of high quality with Keeper Chris Ainsworth taking two catches as did Nick Milnes. Batting second the boys were in trouble at 8 for 81 before Mitch Carlsen (14 runs) hit out to get the side home. Captain Ross Loiacono top scored with 20. Wanneroo took advantage of some ordinary bowling to reach 9/172 in their innings with off spinner Mitch Carlsen's 3 for 25 providing a highlight. Ross Loiacono again top scored with 23 in a disappointing total of 79. Rain saved Subi Floreat from defeat after we batted first making 7 for 106. Jackson Purser top scoring with 49. In reply Subi struggled to 3 for 72 from 30 overs and our boys were confident they had the bowling to make the required run rate from the last ten overs beyond the opposition batsmen. Midland Guildford won the toss and batted and only a wagging tail enabled them to make 108 from 30 overs. Pace bowler Beau Anthony 3 for 17 from 6 0vers and Left Armer Ross Loiacono (4 overs, 2 for 6)lead the way, well supported in the field. Luke Waterhouse them demolished MG's bowlers, retiring on 59 from 71 balls. There was a hiccup in the middle order before Mike Kirk and Chris Ainsworth put together a 50 run partnership and saw us close at 8 for 181.
