Round 4: 17' & 15's and Round 2: 14's and 13's
Under 17’s
Centurions batted first and at 4 for 187 looked set for another very big score but the Bayswater bowlers fought back and restricted them to 8 for 211 at the compulsory closure. Cody Wilson, Jayden Power and Jason Noble all picked up two wickets but generally the bowlers failed to maintain their concentration during the middle innings. Sam Daulby showed good form behind the stumps to collect two catches and a stumping. Although the total was challenging, the Bayswater batsmen failed to come to terms with some very good bowling. Five players reached double figures but Rhys Hampson (57) was the only one to play a substantial knock and the innings closed with only 145 runs posted.
Under 15’s
Electing to bat, Centurions struggled to a perilous 8 for 87 before recovering to score a respectable 179. Alex Di Placido (6/3/3/13) was the pick of a very good bowling attack with Jake Lewis and Ryan Kovalevs taking two wickets each.
On day two, Jake Lewis gave the State selectors a reminder of his amazing talent with a flawless 147. He showed a solid defence to good deliveries and punished others in classic manner either side of the wicket. Support came from a determined Chad Prichard (49), Travis Keys (36), who stroked the ball beautifully in what may have been a major innings but was only a cameo, and Ryan McMillan (22). Only some poor running between wickets marred an otherwise fine batting display of 8 for 300 from 60 overs.

Wanneroo batted on a flat wicket that was made even more batsmen friendly by the Bayswater bowlers who strayed too often in line and length. Cruising to 77 before their first wicket fell, Wanneroo set a platform to really launch an assault. To their credit, Bayswater fought back taking 7 for 70. Louis Ray (8/2/2/15) was steady as always, Aaron Evans (6/0/0/17) bowled tightly, as did Daniel Mustica (4/0/1/11). A fine catch by Jarrad Sims and two runs outs were the highlights in a disappointing display. Chasing 7 for 163, the batting was simply insipid with the side dismissed for 69 runs in 32 overs. Promoted to three, Sam Bowers (13 from 59 balls) was defiant, Alex Di Placido (20) top scored, and Louis Ray (16) showed some spirit in this batting aberration.
Under 13’s Round 2 Re-scheduled due to weather
Reaching a competitive total was always going to be hard when, with just 17 runs posted, Bayswater lost Ethan Petta, Cameron Todd, and Luke Jones to consecutive deliveries. Captain Bailey Gregson (22 from 55 deliveries) and Elliott Lawrence (8 from 27) set about restoring the situation but when they departed, despite resistance from Kobe Kenny (6 from 26) and Kevin Carlson (3 from 19), the innings closed for 60 runs from 28 overs. Wanneroo replied with a comfortable 5 for 175 from their overs. Spinners Kevin Carlson and Kobe Canny bowled well as did Luke Jones and Lachlan Scott. Although comprehensively out played, the boys maintained their effort in the field through out to pick up three run outs. Appropriately enough, Jaxon Field featured in these three dismissals.
