Under 15's Emerging Warriors Carnival

The NE Zone won the carnival and, like the U/14’s, Baysie boys played a prominent part in the success.

Travis Keys hit three consecutive centuries including 109 in a 20/20 match for an aggregate of nearly 400 and an average of a staggering 197 runs.  His dominance of the bowling in these games demonstrated the premise that every ball is a scoring opportunity and he achieved this with a combination of batting power, subtlety, hard running, and, at times, adventurous creativity.

Tall pace bowler, Dan Ogilvie show-cased his talent with a five wicket haul in game three while off spinner Ryan Kovalevs earned plaudits for his consistent control and endeavour that included figures of 4 for 27 in the second 20/20.  In the eight overs he bowled in two 20/20 matches Ryan conceded only one boundary - an excellent performance.  Super bat, Jake Lewis made starts in all matches but was unable to go on to big scores.
