Happy 100th Birthday, Mel O'Neil!

Life member and club legend Mel O’Neil celebrated his 100th birthday today. Many say the club wouldn’t have survived some tough years in the 50s and 60s, or exist today, without him.

His contribution in short: 264 First Grade matches, 4,717 runs and 579 wickets at First Grade level, 11 seasons as First Grade Captain, and 20 years as Secretary and WACA Delegate while still playing. He was made a Life Member in 1961/62.
